重擔（躭濫反廣雅擔負也考聲云以木荷物曰擔說文擔舉也從手詹聲也從木者非也詹音占）。
Heavy burden (重擔: dan [躭] + lan [濫] fan. The Guangya says: “擔 means to carry on the back.” The Kaosheng says: “To carry things with a pole is called 擔.” The Shuowen says: “擔 means to raise up. It is formed from hand [手] with 詹 phonetic.” Writing it with wood [木] is incorrect; 詹 has the sound zhan [占]).
