躁動（上遭奧反考聲云躁性急也顧野王躁動也賈注國語云躁擾也鄭注論語云不安靜也說文作[這-言+喿]字從走喿聲也經本躁字俗用久也）。

Agitated movement (躁動: the first character has the fanqie zao-ao; the Kaosheng states that 躁 means hasty temperament; Gu Yewang states that it means restless motion; Jia's commentary on the Guoyu states that 躁 means commotion; Zheng's commentary on the Analects states that it means not being calm and quiet; the Shuowen writes it as [這-言+喿], formed from 'to run' [走] with 喿 as phonetic; the character 躁 in the sūtra text has long been used in popular practice).
