穰䴬（上壤章反考聲云穰禾黍穗餘也說文亦黍䅀也從禾襄聲䅀音良計反下蠅即反考聲云[麩-夫+戈]麥糠也文字集略云[麩-夫+戈]麥皮也文字典說從麥弋聲弋音翼也）。

Stalks and chaff (穰䴬: the first character has the fanqie rang-zhang; the Kaosheng states that 穰 is the remnant of the ears of grain and millet; the Shuowen also states that it is the stalks of broomcorn millet, formed from 'grain' [禾] with 襄 as phonetic; 䅀 has the fanqie liang-ji; the second character has the fanqie ying-ji; the Kaosheng states that [麩-夫+戈] is wheat chaff; the Wenzi jilüe states that [麩-夫+戈] is wheat bran; the Wenzi dianshuo states that it is formed from 'wheat' [麥] with 弋 as phonetic; 弋 is pronounced yi).
