窄陿（上爭格反埤蒼云窄迫也陿也古今正字窄從穴乍聲經文從辵作迮用別下咸甲反顧野王云陿迫隘不廣大也說文陿從𨸏匧聲匧音謙叶反）。

窄陿 (the first syllable: fanqie: 爭 + 格; the Picang says: '窄 means constricted, narrow.' The Gujin zhengzi says: '窄 is derived from 穴 (cave) with 乍 as phonetic;' the sūtra text writes it with 辵 as 迮, which is used differently. The second syllable: fanqie: 咸 + 甲; Gu Yewang says: '陿 means cramped and narrow, not broad.' The Shuowen says: '陿 is derived from 𨸏 (mound) with 匧 as phonetic;' 匧 is pronounced with the fanqie: 謙 + 叶).
