謫罰（張革反毛傳曰謫責也又曰過也杜注左傳曰謫罰也郭注方言謫謂相責怒也說文亦罰也從言啇聲啇音丁歷反經從辵作讁俗字也）。

[Reprimand and punish] (Fanqie of 張 [t-] and 革 [-ɛk]: Mao's commentary says, "'Zhé' (謫) means to rebuke; it also means a fault." Du's commentary on the *Zuozhuan* says, "'Zhé' means to penalize." Guo's commentary on the *Fangyan* says, "'Zhé' means reproving in anger." The *Shuowen jiezi* says, "It also means to punish. It is formed from 'speech' (言) and the 'shāng' (啇) phonetic." 'Shāng' has the fanqie of 丁 [t-] and 歷 [-iek]. The sūtra writes it with the "movement" radical as 讁, which is a vulgar form).
