詮窮（上七宣反考聲云詮敘也證也淮南子云詮言者所以譬類人事與相解喻治亂之體也說文云具說事理也從言全聲經序從艸作荃香草名也與經義不同也）。

Quanqiong 詮窮 (the first syllable is read with the fanqie 七宣. The Kaosheng says: "詮 means to explain narratively; it means to verify." The Huainanzi says: "Discourse that explicates (詮) uses analogies of human affairs to explain and illustrate the nature of order and chaos." The Shuowen says: "It means fully expounding facts and principles; it is formed from 言 [speech] with 全 as the phonetic." The preface to the scripture writes it with 艸 as 荃, which is the name of a fragrant herb and does not agree with the sūtra's meaning).
