手搏 [Clapping or striking with the hands] (The lower character is fanqie 牓 + 莫 [bó]. Zheng's commentary on the Kaogong ji says: '搏 means to clap.' The Kaosheng says: '搏 means to clutch.' The Guangya says: 'It means to strike.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It has the radical 手 and the phonetic 尃; 尃 is fanqie 摭 + 夫 [fū]').
