頡頏(上賢結反下鶴浪反毛詩傳云飛上下曰頡頏飛下曰頏考聲云乍高乍下也古今正字並從頁吉亢聲亢音𡶩)。

Soaring up and down (頡頏: the first character has the sound x- [賢] + -ié [結] fanqie; the second has the sound h- [鶴] + -áng [浪] fanqie. The Mao Commentary on the Classic of Poetry says: 'Flying up and down is called jiéháng; flying downward is called háng.' The Kaosheng says: 'Suddenly rising high, suddenly descending.' The ancient and modern standard characters both take the head radical (頁), with jí (吉) and kàng (亢) as phonetic; kàng has the sound gāng [𡶩]).
