匏水（上鮑茅反鄭注周禮云匏笙也說文云匏瓠也從包從夸夸亦聲也夸音苦爪反也）。

Gourd water (匏水: the first character has the sound b- [鮑] + -áo [茅] fanqie. Zheng's commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: 'A 匏 is a mouth-organ (shēng).' The Shuowen says: 'A 匏 is a bottle-gourd (hù); formed with bāo (包) and kuā (夸); kuā is also phonetic; kuā has the sound k- [苦] + -uǎ [爪] fanqie').
