兩方（上良掌反廣雅云兩二也所謂三藏解唐言及梵音兩國之語也說文從㒳平分㒳亦聲序作兩非也）。
Both regions (兩方: the first character has the sound l- [良] + -iǎng [掌] fanqie. The Guangya says: '兩 means two.' That is, the Tripiṭaka master understood both the languages of the Tang and Sanskrit regions. The Shuowen says: 'Formed from 㒳 [meaning] equally divided; 㒳 is also phonetic.' The preface writing it as 兩 is incorrect).
