見薪（下信津反鄭注周禮云木曰薪草曰蒸又注禮記云大者謂之薪小者合朿謂之柴說文從艸新聲也）。

見薪 (The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 信 + 津. Zheng's commentary on the Zhouli says: wood is called xīn, grass is called zhēng. Also, his commentary on the Liji says: large pieces are called xīn; smaller ones bundled together are called chái. The Shuowen says: it takes the 'grass' radical and 新 as phonetic.)
