火燎（下力召反鄭注周禮云樹於門外曰火燭於內日庭燎皆所以照眾為明也毛詩箋云火田為燎廣雅云乾也說文放火也從火尞聲尞音同上也）。

火燎 (The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 力 + 召. Zheng's commentary on the Zhouli says: placed outside the gate it is called a fire-beacon; inside it is called a courtyard torch; both are used to illuminate for the multitude. The Mao commentary on the Shijing says: burning fields is liáo. The Guangya says: dry. The Shuowen says: setting fire; it takes the 'fire' radical and 尞 as phonetic. 尞 has the same pronunciation as above.)
