負擔（下膽濫反考聲云擔以木荷物也廣雅云舉也字書云亦負也古今正字從手詹聲也）。

Shouldering a load (負擔: the lower character [擔] has the fanqie phonetic [dan] (膽濫反). The Kaosheng says: "擔 means to carry things using a wooden pole." The Guangya states: "It means to lift." The Zishu states: "It also means to shoulder a load." In the Gujin zhengzi, it is derived from the hand radical (手) with the phonetic marker [zhan] (詹)).
