鑽搖（上纂巒反說文鑽所以穿者也從金贊聲經作攢攢聚也非經義也下文淮此也）。

Drilling and shaking (鑽搖: the upper character [鑽] has the fanqie phonetic [zuan] (纂巒反). The Shuowen jiezi states: "A drill is that by which one bores through; it is derived from the metal radical (金) with the phonetic marker [zan] (贊)." The scripture writes it as 攢; 攢 means to assemble, which is not the meaning of the scripture. The text below conforms to this).
