跛蹇（波我反賈注國語云跛行不正也周易跛足蹇說文作㝿從尢皮聲尢音一黃反經文作跛音祕下居展反說文蹇亦跛也從足蹇省聲）。

Lame and halting (跛蹇: the upper character [跛] has the fanqie phonetic [bo] (波我反). Jia Kui's commentary to the Guoyu states: "Lame means walking unevenly." The Zhouyi states: "Lame foot halting." The Shuowen jiezi writes it as 㝿: "Derived from the lame radical (尢) with the phonetic marker [pi] (皮); 尢 has the fanqie phonetic [wang] (一黃反)." The scripture text writes it as 跛, with the sound [bi] (祕). The lower character [蹇] has the fanqie phonetic [jian] (居展反). The Shuowen jiezi states: "蹇 also means lame; derived from the foot radical (足) with the abbreviated phonetic marker [jian] (蹇)").
