怨恨（上於願反顧野王云怨亦恨望也蒼頡篇云恨咎也文字集略云深恨也說文云恚也從心夗聲經別有本亦云惋恨音剜換反惋恨驚異也非此義也）。

Resentment and grudge (怨恨) (The first character has the fanqie yu + yuan. Gu Yewang says: “Yuan (怨) also means resentment and reproach.” The Cangjie pian says: “Hen (恨) means blame.” The Wenzi jilüe says: “Deep resentment.” The Shuowen says: “It means anger; it is formed from the ‘mind’ classifier and the phonetic yuan (夗).” Other editions of the sūtra also have ‘grieved and shocked’ (惋恨), sounded with the fanqie wan + huan; ‘wanhen’ means alarmed and surprised, which is not the meaning here).
