蜚尸（上匪微反古作飛舊音云飛謂飛楊也左氏傳云有蜚不為灾也古今正字從虫非聲）。

蜚尸 (upper: *pwij* + *mwjɨj* [fēi]: Anciently written as 飛. Older sound glosses say: '飛 means flying up and scattering.' The *Zuo tradition* says: 'There were locusts (蜚), but they did not constitute a disaster.' The *Gjin Zhengzi* says: 'Follows the insect radical with the phonetic *fēi* (非)').
