麁獷（上醋蘇反前諸法無行經下卷已釋訖下虢猛反考聲云獷謂犬悍戾也說文犬獷也獷不可附也從犬廣聲也）。

麁獷 ('coarse and fierce'; the upper character is pronounced 醋 [cù] + 蘇 [sū] fanqie. It was already explained above under the lower fascicle of the Zhu fa wuxing jing. The lower character is pronounced 虢 [guó] + 猛 [měng] fanqie. The Kaosheng says: '獷 [guǎng] refers to a dog being ferocious and unruly.' The Shuowen says: 'A dog being ferocious; 獷 [guǎng] means impossible to approach.' It is composed of 犬 ['dog'] with 廣 as phonetic).
