無明[愨-心+卵] (lower: *kʰaewng* + *kaewk* [què]: The *Kaosheng* says: '㲉 is the empty shell of an egg.' The character dictionaries say: 'An egg already hatched is a 㲉.' The *Guiyuan zhucun* says: 'The hatched shell is the outer skin of a bird's egg.' The *Wenzidian shuo* says: 'Follows the egg radical with the phonetic *qiào* (𣪊)').
