旋[夕*巴]（上隨緣反王注楚辭云旋轉也何注公羊云旋繞也博雅云便旋俳佪也說文從於從疋㫃音偃疋音踈也下冤阬反說文夗轉也從夕臥從卩也經作婉誤也卩音節也）。

Revolving and turning (旋[夕*巴]; the first character is *sui* + *yuan* [xuán]; Wang's commentary on the *Chuci* says: "旋 means to turn around." He's commentary on the *Gongyang zhuan* says: "旋 means to circle around." The *Boya* says: "便旋 means to pace back and forth." The *Shuowen jiezi* says it has 㫃 and 疋; 㫃 is pronounced *yǎn*, and 疋 is pronounced *shū*. The second character is *yuan* + *keng* [wǎn]; the *Shuowen jiezi* says: "夗 means to turn over; it derives from lying down at evening (夕) and 卩." The sūtra text erroneously writes 婉; 卩 is pronounced *jié*).
