蓊蔚（上屋孔反下氳勿反廣雅云草木盛蓊蔚也顧野王云亦草木盛皃也古今正字二字並從草翁尉聲經文作欝欝謂愁煩氣出皃也）。

Luxuriant and dense (蓊蔚; the first character is *wu* + *kong* [wěng], the second is *yun* + *wu* [wèi]; the *Guangya* says: "Lushness of plants and trees is 蓊蔚." Gu Yewang says: "It also means the luxuriant appearance of vegetation." The *Gujin zhengzi* says both characters have the grass radical, with 翁 and 尉 as their sounds. The sūtra text writes 欝欝, which denotes the vaporous rising of anxiety and distress).
