窟穴（上困骨反杜注左傳云窟地室也聲類云兔所伏也亦作堀古今正字從穴屈聲也）。

Caves and hollows (窟穴: the upper character is 困骨 fanqie. Du's commentary to the *Zuo zhuan* states: "*Ku* (窟) is a subterranean chamber." The *Shenglei* states: "A place where hares burrow." It is also written as 堀. The *Gujin zhengzi* states: "Derived from 穴, with 屈 as its phonetic component").
