羸瘦 (upper: *lwij* + *ngjwe* [léi]: Du [Yu]'s commentary on the *Zuo tradition* says: '羸 means weak.' Jia [Kui]'s commentary on the *Guoyu* says: 'Diseased.' The *Huainanzi* says: 'Feeble.' Character dictionaries say: 'Fatigued.' The *Shuowen jiezi* also says: 'Emaciated; follows the sheep radical with the phonetic 𣎆; 𣎆 is pronounced *lì* + *wò*').
