乾燥（下索早反周易云水流溼火就燥是也又說文云亦乾也從火喿聲也喿音操躁反）。

乾燥 (lower: *sak* + *tsaw* [zào]: The *Book of Changes* says: 'Water flows toward the damp; fire goes toward the parched (燥),' which is this. Also, the *Shuowen jiezi* says: 'Also means dry; follows the fire radical with the phonetic *zào* (喿); 喿 is pronounced with the fanqie of *cāo* and *zào*').
