丘聚(去尤反周禮云四邑曰丘鄭注云丘四里也孔注尚書云地之高曰丘也又序云丘亦聚也說文亦土之高也從一一地也人居在丘象地形也經從土作坵非也坵音池)。
Hamlets and settlements (丘聚: [the upper character is] 去尤 fanqie. The *Rites of Zhou* states: "Four settlements are called a hill (丘)." Zheng's commentary states: "A hill is four villages (里)." Kong's commentary to the *Book of Documents* states: "Elevated ground is called a hill." Furthermore, the preface states: "A hill is also a gathering (聚)." The *Shuowen* states: "Also elevated earth; derived from 一 and 一, representing earth; humans dwell upon the hill, depicting the terrain's shape." The sūtra writes it with 土 as 坵, which is incorrect. 坵 is pronounced 池).
