拂柄（上紛勿反毛詩傳云拂去也鄭注儀禮云拂拭也又注禮記云拂除塵也廣雅云拂亦除也說文拂擊也從手弗聲下兵命反字書云柄執也持也把也操也說文從木丙聲）。

Fúbǐng (拂柄, handle of a whisk) (upper syllable: fēn + wù [fú] fanqie. The Mao commentary to the Shijing says: 'Fú means to brush away.' Zheng's commentary to the Yili says: 'Fú means to wipe clean.' His commentary to the Book of Rites also says: 'Fú means to dust away.' The Guangya says: 'Fú also means to eliminate.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Fú means to strike.' Composed of 手 [hand] with 弗 phonetic. Lower syllable: bīng + mìng [bǐng] fanqie. Character dictionaries say: 'Bǐng means to hold, to grasp, to take in hand, to wield.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Composed of 木 [wood] with 丙 phonetic.').
