彷徉（上薄忙反下餘章反國語云屏營彷徉於山林之中也顧野王云彷徉猶俳佪也古今正字二字並從彳羊方皆聲也彷亦音房今不取也彳音丑尺反）。

Pángyáng (彷徉, wandering aimlessly) (upper syllable: bó + máng [páng] fanqie; lower syllable: yú + zhāng [yáng] fanqie. The Guoyu says: 'Terrified, wandering aimlessly (pángyáng) amidst the mountain forests.' Gu Yewang says: 'Pángyáng is like pacing to and fro.' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'Both characters are composed of 彳 with 羊 and 方 as phonetics.' 彷 is also pronounced fáng, which is not adopted here. 彳 is pronounced chǒu + chǐ [chì] fanqie).
