為湏（粟瑜反案湏者蓮華中蓮臺四面花蘂湏牙也說文從頁從彡頁音賢結反彡音杉經文從髟作鬚非也髟音普彫反）。

Forming stamens (weixu; su-yu fan. Upon examination, xu refers to the flower stamens and filaments on the four sides of the lotus receptacle inside a lotus flower. The Shuowen jiezi says: "It takes the head classifier and shan classifier." The head classifier [頁] has the sound xian-jie fan; the shan classifier [彡] has the sound shan. In the sūtra text it is written with the biao classifier as 鬚, which is incorrect. Biao [髟] has the sound pu-diao fan).
