黯如（上鴨檻反王肅註家語云黯黑貌也說文黯㴱黑貌也從黑音聲也）。

黯如 (pitch-black as; the first character is 鴨檻反; Wang Su's commentary on the Kongzi Jiayu states that 黯 is the appearance of blackness; the Shuowen jiezi states that 黯 is the appearance of deep darkness; it takes the 'black' (黑) radical with 音 as phonetic).
