Obscured by [所翳]: the second [character is pronounced with the fanqie] yan-ji (煙計反). The Fangyan states: 'Yì (翳) means concealed.' 'Concealed' (薆) also means covered. The Jixun states: 'Shaded and obscured.' The Wenzidian shuo states: 'Yì (翳) means hidden.' The character ài (薆) has the fanqie ai-gai (哀改反). It is formed from yǔ (羽, feathers) and yì (殹; the sound of 殹 is the same as above).
