枯槁（上苦胡反考聲木乾死也亦作㱠說文枯朽也從木古聲下苦浩反說文槁亦枯也考聲亦乾也從木高聲也）。

Withered and dried up (枯槁: the first character has the fanqie [ku] + [hu]. The Kaosheng says: 'Wood dried and dead; also written 㱠.' The Shuowen says: '枯 [kū] means withered and rotten; it derives from 木 [wood] with 古 [gǔ] phonetic.' The second character has the fanqie [ku] + [hao]. The Shuowen says: '槁 [gǎo] also means withered.' The Kaosheng says: 'Also dried up; it derives from 木 [wood] with 高 [gāo] phonetic.').
