嬈固（乃了反下又作怘同古護反三蒼云嬈弄也煩也謂煩擾戲弄也諸經有作嬲或作𤲶音同嬈摩登伽經作擾蠱音公戶反厭蠱也字林蠱音古護反）。

Tormenting persistently (嬈固): [嬈 is] fanqie 乃了 (niǎo). The latter character is also written 怘, identically with fanqie 古護 (gù). The San Cang states: "嬈 means teasing or troubling," meaning vexing and mocking. Various sūtras write 嬲 or 𤲶, both pronounced the same as 嬈. The Mātangi-sūtra writes 擾蠱, where [蠱 is] fanqie 公戶 (gǔ), meaning sorcery; the Zilin gives 蠱 the fanqie 古護 (gù).
