掘去（群屈反集訓云掘穿也考聲斷也經意欲斸去其地中惡土及灰炭瓦礫爛骨朽木諸穢惡物說文從手屈聲經文從角從厥作𧤼音權月反俗語非也）。

Dig out (掘去: fanqie [qún qū] (qun-qu / jué); the Jixun says jué means to pierce through; the Kaosheng says to sever; the meaning in the sūtra is digging out bad earth, ash, charcoal, broken tiles, gravel, rotten bones, decayed wood, and other filthy substances from the ground; the Shuowen has it under 手 with 屈 as phonetic; in the sūtra text written with 角 and 厥 as 𧤼, pronounced with the fanqie [quán yuè] (quan-yue), which is colloquial and erroneous).
