撚綫（上年典反正字辯惑云續緊也考聲云[絡-口+((暴-(日/共))/皿)]使緊也挼也以手挼撚令緊也從手然聲也或從手從㐱作抮古字㐱音軫[絡-口+((暴-(日/共))/皿)]音捩挼音奴和反緊音經引反下先箭反集訓綫縷也俗作線前已釋古文）。

撚綫 [Twist thread] (The upper character's fanqie is 年 + 典 [niǎn]. The Zhengzi bianhuo says: "To twist tightly." The Kaosheng says: "[絡-口+((暴-(日/共))/皿)] means to make tight; to rub between hands, rubbing and twisting with the hands to make tight; formed from 手 (hand) with 然 as phonetic; also written with hand and 㐱 as 抮, an ancient character; 㐱 is pronounced 軫 [zhěn]; [絡-口+((暴-(日/共))/皿)] is pronounced 捩 [liè]; the fanqie of 挼 is 奴 + 和 [nuó]; the fanqie of 緊 is 經 + 引 [jǐn].
