Splashing and sprinkling (The first character is jiān + xuè fanqie. The Kaosheng says: 'Xī means to splash.' It is also written as 瀄, which is also acceptable. The second is shā + jiǎ fanqie. Note that sǎ means moistening an object with water and scattering or splashing it. It is used as a borrowed sound; its original pronunciation is suǒ + mǎi fanqie, which is not used here).
