謦欬（上輕郢反蒼頡篇云謦聲也莊子謦欬其側說文謦亦欬也從言從省聲下開愛反考聲云欬嗽也說文從欠亥聲）。

謦欬: The first character has the fanqie qing + ying (qǐng). The *Cangjiepian* says: 'Qing is a sound.' The *Zhuangzi* mentions 'coughing and clearing one's throat (qingkai) at his side.' The *Shuowen* says: 'Qing is also kai; composed of the 'speech' (言) semantic and the sheng (殸) phonetic abbreviated.' The second character has the fanqie kai + ai (kài). The *Kaosheng* says: 'Kai means to cough.' The *Shuowen* says: 'Composed of the 'yawn/breath' (欠) semantic and hai (亥) phonetic.'
