Carbuncles and leprosy 疽癩 (the first is fanqie: 且餘 [q- + -u]; the Shuowen jiezi states: 'A chronic ulcer.' The second is fanqie: 力葢 [l- + -ai]; the character is also written as 癘, meaning a severe disease).
