謦欬（上啟郢反蒼頡篇云謦聲也說文謦亦欬也從言殸聲也殸音坑下開改反顧野王欬嗽也說文氣逆也從欠亥聲經從口作咳非也）。

Cough and clear the throat (謦欬) (The upper character is qi + ying fan. The Cang Jie pian says: "謦 is a sound." The Shuowen states: "謦 also means to cough. Composed with 'speech' [言] semantic and 殸 phonetic; 殸 is pronounced keng." The lower character is kai + gai fan. Gu Yewang states: "To cough." The Shuowen states: "Rebellious qi. Composed with 'yawn' [欠] semantic and 亥 phonetic." In the scripture it is written with 'mouth' [口] as 咳, which is erroneous).
