躑髑花（上呈戟反次重錄反本草云羊躑躅有大毒三月採花其花黃色或五色羊誤食其花葉躑躅而死因以為名古今正字並從足形聲字或作蹢躅字也）。

躑髑花 (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie 呈戟 [zhí]; the next is pronounced with the fanqie 重錄 [zhú]. The Bencao says: "The 'sheep-faltering' (羊躑躅, rhododendron) is highly toxic. Its flowers are gathered in the third month; the flowers are yellow or five-coloured. When sheep mistakenly eat its flowers or leaves, they falter and die; hence it was given this name." In standard ancient and modern writing, both characters are phono-semantic graphs with 足; it is also written as 蹢躅.)
