閃爍（上苦染反說文闚頭門中皃會意亦形聲字也從人闚門中也下傷斫反經意閃爍不定也）。

閃爍 (The upper character is kǔ rǎn fan [shǎn]; the Shuowen says: "The appearance of peeking one's head through a doorway. An ideogram and also a phonogram; it is composed of a person peeking through a doorway." The lower character is shāng zhuó fan [shuò]; the meaning in the sūtra is flickering and unsettled).
