柬擇（上姦眼反說文云柬分別簡之也從束八分之也經作簡非也下音宅也）。
柬擇 (The upper character is jiān yǎn fan [jiǎn]; the Shuowen says: "Jiǎn means to distinguish and select; composed of 束 divided by 八." The sūtra writing it as 簡 is incorrect. The lower character has the sound zhái [zé]).
