Yúnchú (耘鉏, weeding and hoeing; the first character is fanqie 運 + 君. Mao's commentary to the Shijing says: "Yún means to remove weeds." The Shuowen gives it as 耘, same sound: "To remove weeds among sprouts; derived from the plow radical with yuán [員] as phonetic." It is also written as 𦓷. The base text of the sūtra has yún [芸], which is an error. The second character is fanqie 助 + 葅. Gu Yewang says: "A chú is an implement for tending fields." The Shuowen says: "To hoe or chop; derived from the metal radical with qiě [且] as phonetic." Qiě is fanqie 子 + 余. In the sūtra it is written as chú [鋤], which is a vulgar character. Lěi [耒] is fanqie 雷 + 對).
