銷雪（上音消王注楚辭銷滅也玉篇散也說文鑠金也從金肖聲也或作焇也同用）。

Melt and dissolve (銷雪: the first character has the sound of xiao [消]. Wang's commentary to the Chuci says: “銷 means to destroy.” The Yupian says: “To disperse.” The Shuowen says: “To smelt metal; formed from metal [金] with 肖 phonetic.” It is also interchangeably written as 焇).
