鶢鶋（上音袁下音居國語云海鳥也漢元帝時瑯瑘有大鳥如馬駒時人謂之鶢鶋爾雅云鶢鶋雜縣莊子鶢鶋海鳥止於魯郊）。

鶢鶋 (Seabird: The upper character has the sound 袁 [yuán]; the lower character has the sound 居 [jū]. The Guoyu says: "A seabird." In the time of Emperor Yuan of the Han dynasty, in Langya there was a large bird like a foal; people of the time called it a yuanju. The Erya says: "The yuanju is the zaxian." The Zhuangzi says: "A yuanju, a seabird, came to alight in the outskirts of Lu").
