Wipe and rub [抆摩] (wu + fen fan [wen]. The Guangya says: 'Wen means to wipe.' The Songs of Chu says: 'The orphaned son groans and wipes his tears'—this is it. The Gujin zhengzi states: 'The character wen takes the 'hand' radical and wen phonetic.' Also written as 捪, found in the Kaosheng.)
