瑕隙(上胡加反鄭注禮記瑕玉之病也廣雅瑕裂也玉篇瑕穢也下鄉逆反說文壁際孔也隙從阝又從白上下小阝音負經從巢作者非也前經第四十卷中已釋也)。

Flaws and fissures [瑕隙] (the upper character is hu + jia fan [xia]. Zheng's commentary on the Book of Rites says: 'Xia is a flaw in jade.' The Guangya says: 'Xia means cracked.' The Yupian says: 'Xia means defilement.' The lower character is xiang + ni fan [xi]. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'A hole in the juncture of a wall. Xi takes the 'mound' radical (fù) and 'white' with small above and below; fù is pronounced fu.' In the sūtra it is written with 'nest', which is incorrect. Already explained in the fortieth fascicle of the previous sūtra.)
