匊物（上鳩六反毛詩傳云滿手曰匊鄭注禮記云匊手中也詩云在手曰匊從勹音包從米亦從手作掬）。

To cup things in the hands (匊物; the first character has the fanqie 鳩 + 六. The Mao commentary on the Shijing states: 'A handful is called jū.' Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Liji states: 'Jū means inside the hands.' The Shijing says: 'What is held in the hand is called jū.' It is formed with the 'wrap' radical [勹], pronounced 包, and mǐ [米]; it is also written with the 'hand' radical [手] as 掬).
