澄渟（上直陵反下定經反埤蒼渟水止也字書云水滯也古今正字並從水登亭皆聲）。

Limpid and calm (澄渟: the first character is pronounced 直陵 [chéng]. The second character is pronounced 定經 [tíng]. The Picang says: "Tíng means still water." A character book says: "Water that is stagnant." The Gujin zhengzi has both with the water radical [水] and with dēng [登] and tíng [亭] as phonetics).
