撟誑(上嬌小反鄭注周禮云撟稱詐以有為也顧野王云假稱謂之撟說文擅也從手喬聲經本作矯直也非撟誑義也)。

撟誑 (The first character has the fanqie 嬌小. Zheng's commentary on the *Rites of Zhou* says: "Jiǎo (撟) means to make false claims in order to effect something." Gu Yewang says: "Borrowing a pretext or claiming falsely is called jiǎo." The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "To usurp or act presumptuously; it derives from 'hand' (手) with 喬 as the phonetic." The sūtra text originally wrote 矯, which means straight, not the meaning of jiǎokuáng [fraudulent deception]).
