魍魎（上武往反下力掌反考聲云魍魎水神也亦是邪鬽鬼也淮南子云魍魎狀如小兒赤黑色赤爪長耳美髮或作𧈿蜽亦通國語云水恠妖鬼也或作𲌫[兩*鬼]亦同）。

Water sprites (魍魎: the upper character has the fanqie wǔ + wǎng [wǎng]; the lower character has the fanqie lì + zhǎng [liǎng]; Kaosheng states: 'Wǎngliǎng are water spirits, and also evil mèi ghosts'; the Huainanzi states: 'Wǎngliǎng resemble young children, reddish-black in colour, with red claws, long ears, and fine hair'; it is also written as 𧈿蜽, which is interchangeable; the Guoyu states: 'Water monsters and demonic ghosts'; writing it as 𲌫[兩*鬼] is also the same).
